This is a Heidi Klum face we have not seen before. Usually she has a big smile, but come to think of it, we haven’t seen her smile in a long time. She must not be happy with her life right now. Maybe all that yakking her estranged husband Seal did about their divorce rubbed her the wrong way. We bet she’s hoping for a civilized divorce like Katy Perry and Russell Brand, but the fact is, Seal might cost her some big bucks.

The OTHER German model who dated Seal for a year before he met Heidi Klum has made a public statement advising Heidi NOT to go back to him. Tatjana Patitz was Seal’s girlfriend in 1997 and she described him to In Touch as “a selfish and immature man who cannot control his volcanic temper.” Tatjana emphasized that Seal “has anger issues and he’s not a nice person.” For the sake of their children Tatjana advised Heidi “Divorce him! You’re better off without him!”

What can Heidi Klum be thinking as she watches her estranged husband Seal traipse from one TV interview to another, sounding off about the state of his marriage. He obviously is not happy about being accused of having an anger problem so he approaches each interviewer with folded hands and a very soft voice, just oozing charm. He’s told several journalists the same thing: “I’m only talking to YOU because you’ve always been kind to me.” Really. When Seal doesn’t have a record to promote, he despises and CURSES the press. Because of Heidi and the split, reporters are interested in him now and he’s using every trick to promote his album and make himself look like a nice guy. It’s nauseating.

Wait a minute, the whole Demi Moore/Ashton Kutcher divorce story just took a U-turn. TMZ reports that Demi was inhaling nitrous oxide with a friend before she had a seizure and was hospitalized. Nitrous Oxide! This is something bored young teenagers do after graduating from glue-sniffing. For a woman of Demi’s age and accomplishment, it’s mind boggling. What ELSE does she do? Obviously Demi is not the innocent victim of her husband’s infidelity that she appeared to be. Maybe she’s been abusing drugs for a long time and DROVE Ashton to seek companionship elsewhere. He’s probably happy this information surfaced because the press has branded him the villain who caused the split. There’s WAY more to this than meets the eye.

So Heidi Klum finally came to her senses. We weren’t the least bit surprised to learn that her 48 year old husband Seal’s bad temper was the cause of the split. We always wondered why she put up with his nasty disposition. Years ago we were huge fans of Seal and met him at a Hollywood party. We approached him in a pleasant, polite way but found him to be surprisingly unfriendly and arrogant, with a macho attitude. His poisonous disposition and manners didn’t seem to change throughout the event. We later heard more stories about his negative behavior and were shocked when Heidi Klum married him. The twosome never stopped raving about how wonderful the other one was. (Who were they trying to convince?) Seven years and several kids later, hardworking “Project Runway” host Heidi, 38, is super successful and Seal’s career is stagnant at best. Heidi grew tired of all the angry outbursts and apologies and she’s moving on with her life.

Laura Dern, 44, and her ex-husband musician Ben Harper, 42, turned up at the Golden Globes parties together and you’d never guess they were divorced (if, indeed, they really are.)They were married for five years and had two children when Ben filed for divorce in 2010, asking for joint custody of the kids. It’s not clear whether the divorce was finalized. Since then, they have been seen together with their children but it looks like they are more than friends now.

“Friends” of Katy Perry and Russell Brand seem to be leaking lots of stories about their divorce to the press and it’s hard to know who to believe. When they were photographed on different continents at Christmas we KNEW the marriage was in serious trouble. Still, it WAS shocking when Russell filed for divorce this week and it seemed like an ungentlemanly thing to do. In civilized break-ups, the wife is encouraged to do the filing. But TMZ sources say that Katy WANTED Russell to file because of her religious beliefs, and they both planned to be out of town when he did it. Why Russell would choose to be in London – the only place with almost as many paparazzi as Hollywood, is unclear. When you think about it, maybe it wasn’t a good idea for a minister’s daughter to marry an admitted former heroin, alcohol, and sex addict in the first place.

There’s no doubt that Terrence Howard, 42, is going through one of the nastiest celebrity divorces of the year. He secretly married Michelle Ghent a year ago and she filed for divorce citing multiple violent confrontations. Terrence denies abusing his wife and shot back with accusations that his wife “hates black people” and a long list of insults and violence on her part. Who’s right? It’s too bad, but the handsome charismatic actor has a history of assault. Howard not only exaggerates his education, but he was sued by a composer he attacked while doing a Broadway show. In 2009 he was arrested for assaulting his estranged wife and later was arrested for assaulting a flight attendant. And he thought Chris Brown’s beating of Rihanna was no big thing! Something is VERY wrong with Terrence Howard.

We had NO IDEA how involved the Kardashians were in the Kobe Bryant divorce! Kris Jenner has been schmoozing up all the Laker wives since she became a fixture at the games. When Kris heard that there were rumors of Lamar Odom being traded awhile back she was outraged because she knew her son-in-law didn’t want to go. (Lamar was almost in tears.) Kris hoped Kobe would make sure it didn’t happen, but he didn’t get involved and Lamer WAS traded – to Kris’s extreme disappointment. Maybe this motivated Kris to tell Vanessa about her husband’s cheating. We don’t know for sure. But we DO know as soon as the divorce was announced, Kim let it be known that she wanted to be fixed up with Kobe and he LOVES the idea! So Kim and Kobe (who is notorious for his generosity to women) are free to date each other! And Kim might end up having babies that grow up to be 7 feet tall!

Since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce, Kris Humphries morphed from shock to embarrassment to ANGER, and now he wants to get even. This marriage will NOT end quietly and quickly as Kim had hoped. According to CJ at the Star Tribune in Minneapolis, Humphries’ request for an annulment claiming “fraud” is just the tip of the iceberg. He’s hired a dream team of Los Angeles lawyers (trial attorneys familiar with the courtroom) to prove “fraud” and depositions will be flying. Kris is going to embarrass Kim by having lawyers closely examine her bank accounts and assets and haul her friends (maybe even her ex Reggie Bush!) into court. Kim will certainly use her millions to delay and run up Kris’s legal tab, but that may backfire since he is asking HER to pay his legal bills. Our pal CJ sums it up: “Kim will rue the day she laid eyes on Kris Humphries!”

Kim Kardashian hoped her series Kourtney and Kim Take New York, filmed right after her marriage, would reveal that she was an innocent victim who accidentally married a monster. After their honeymoon, Kim insisted she and Kris Humphries move into a NY hotel suite with her sister and boyfriend Scott Disick and their baby. Kris was immediately uncomfortable living with “The Bickersons” and their cute but noisy baby whose playroom was right outside their bedroom door. Did Kim care? No. Kim planned all sorts of nightlife events for her TV show and Kris worried about concentrating on his training. Again, Kim made no attempt to compromise. To his credit, he didn’t indulge her nonsense and refused to let her push him around. His midwestern normality certainly clashed with her high profile frivolity and rampant self-indulgence. This marriage WAS doomed because they didn’t try living together before they got married. Kris escaped with his decency intact.

According to The Enquirer, weeks before the split, Kris started to notice he was being followed and at first he thought it was paparazzi, but they didn’t take photos! After awhile he realized he was being watched when Kim wasn’t around. Kim thought she’d catch him fooling around with other women but she didn’t. Kris confronted Kim and she said she was “only trying to protect herself” but this sneaky act might actually give Kris the upper hand in the divorce.

Now they can have a civilized divorce with minimal hurt feelings – thanks to Courteney’s patience.
