We never had much of a weakness for Russell Brand, but we were horrified by revelations he made in a recent interview. According to Radaronline, back when Brand, now 36, was addicted to crack and heroin he admits he had “destructive tendencies” and was “fixated on dead animals.” When he performed onstage he’d bring a heap of dead rats or birds and says he’d “smash them up with a hammer and throw them to the audience. He’d say “Why are you disgusted? They’re dead already!” He says he was trying to “wake people up” by shocking them. It’s a horrifying mental picture that Brand clearly would be better off not mentioning. Drugs are no excuse.

The countdown has begun. ”Two and a Half Men” is resuming production Monday and Charlie Sheen is expected to show up for work Tuesday. But he’s on another bender and unraveling fast – his advisors are trying to stop him from buying multi-million dollar neighboring houses in Mulholland Estates for his two ex wives. Crack loving exwife Brooke Mueller has already moved back into his house along with a few porn stars. (The beginning of the “porn family?”) He went on an insane shopping spree and spent $900,000 on cars for pornstars along with a $160,000 Mercedes for Brooke. He packed up Brooke and the porn girls and left for the Bahamas (Brooke ditched him at some point.) He’s been calling radio shows from the Bahamas, badmouthing his producer Chuck Lorre, challenging him to a fight, and ranting and raving like a madman. But he INSISTS he will be back at work. We can hardly wait.
UPDATE: Apparently CBS executives finally got fed up with Charlie’s antics and cancelled the show for the season. Stay tuned for Charlie’s reaction!

When he goes to Las Vegas he stays in the most expensive hotel room IN THE WORLD: the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa at the Palms Casino Resort which rents for $40,000 a night. It’s a great place to entertain porn stars. Charlie was in Las Vegas this weekend to socialize with his favorite porn stars at the Adult Entertainment Expo. He had nonstop visitors in the 10,000 sq ft suite which has a rotating round bed with mirrored ceiling, multiple bars and butlers, and an inside/outside jacuzzi with a view – full of naked girls. After a weekend of nonstop action Charlie managed to show up on the “Two and a Half Men” ready for work, and on time Tuesday. The best of both worlds.

If you recall, it was last Christmas when Charlie Sheen put a knife to his wife Brooke Mueller’s throat and that was just the beginning. Restraining orders, dramatic accusations, and reconciliations followed, as details of their twisted drug-fueled marriage were revealed. Both Charlie and Brooke ended up in rehab with their habits exposed. This weekend the not-so-clean Brooke is back at the scene of the crime in Aspen, and she was seen smooching in the snowy street with Dave Navarro, after picking him up at Nobu, according to TMZ. If you think Charlie Sheen is somewhere behaving, you couldn’t be more off base. In fact Charlie is currently in LA and up to hijinks that top last year’s scandal. If you thought Charlie could no longer surprise you, brace yourself.

Will teflon Charlie Sheen get out of this drug and violence dilemma as easily as he usually does? As you already know, Charlie was arrested early Tuesday morning at New York’s Plaza Hotel for trashing his hotel room. Charlie had come home high as a kite in the company of a prostitute and discovered his wallet and cell phone missing. He became violent, accusing the hooker of stealing, and she got scared and locked herself in the bathroom where she called the hotel for help. Hotel staffers and cops bundled the naked and intoxicated Charlie off to the hospital. The hooker said Charlie had been doing cocaine for days and drinking. Charlie’s publicist immediately insisted that Charlie had “an adverse reaction to medication.” No doubt Charlie’s people are chasing the “escort” around with money to shut her up while TV shows and magazines are competing for her story. SHE is the lucky one in this mess. We predict Charlie will survive this scandal unscarred, as always.

While serving his eight week DUI sentence in a UK prison, George made the acquaintance of a 280 lb, 6’3” career criminal named Robert Bleach. Bleach, responsible for a string of violent robberies, offered to protect George from other inmates – telling him if anyone messed with him, to mention his name, and they’d back off. Now George is considering hiring Bleach as his bodyguard when the robber gets out in January. Rehabilitation is nice, but what George Michael needs is a DRIVER.

Such a huge fuss is being made over the fact that Lindsay Lohan has ADMITTED “I failed my drug test.” (Along with other quotes provided by her lawyer) Her friends are saying this is a sign that Lindsay is taking responsibility for her actions. Actually she had no choice but to admit she failed the test or tests– it’s documented. What she’s still NOT admitting is that she’s DOING DRUGS. She always seems to be in denial about THAT.

We figured Steve Wynn was angry enough to fire Paris Hilton’s boyfriend Cy Waits from his nightclub manager job, but we didn’t realize Wynn was fed up with Paris also! After he fired Waits, Wynn went on the BAN Paris from the two Wynn resorts in Las Vegas (and all the nightclubs therein,) according to the Huffington Post. Waits was arrested for misdemeanor DUI while Hilton is accused of felony cocaine possession. So far, Cy’s twin brother Jesse is still working for Wynn. If cocaine charges don’t faze her, we wonder if being banned from nightclubs will get Paris’s attention.

Lindsay Lohan looks great on the cover of Vanity Fair – the photo and interview were done a week before she was jailed and rehabbed. It’s worthy of note that in her interview, Lindsay insisted she has “never abused prescription drugs” and did not have a drinking problem. (Sure, we believe a “misdiagnosis” caused her to pop all those Adderall.) Oh, and she blamed her bad decisions and bad behavior on the fact that she had poor role models, like Britney – and her parents. It will be interesting to see if, in her first interview AFTER jail and rehab, (for which she will be paid a fortune) anything changes. Denial and blaming others are not good signs for recovery. Will she man up and takes responsibility for her own behavior?

It’s been a wild summer for Cy Waits. He started dating Paris Hilton (and achieved some notoriety) in June and he and his twin brother Jesse just got a huge promotion from Las Vegas boss Steve Wynn. The brothers have been successfully running Wynn’s nightclubs and when Wynn and Victor Drai recently parted ways – they took over Drai’s empire. The twins were on the fast track to incredible success until Paris pulled out her lip gloss. The resulting drug charges and Cy’s DUI rubbed Steve Wynn the wrong way and to no one’s surprise, word is out that he fired Cy. The future of his brother Jesse is unknown. Suddenly Cy isn’t the great catch he was when Paris started dating him.

We’re puzzled by the Paris Hilton conundrum when it comes to her cocaine possession arrest in Las Vegas. According to the AP, police smelled marijuana drifting out of the car occupied by Paris and her boyfriend Cy Waits and they were pulled over near the Wynn Hotel. Cy was arrested for DUI and when looky-loos started to gather and take photos, Paris asked if they could go inside the hotel. In the lobby she sensed the arrival of cameras, so she pulled her lip gloss out of her purse and in doing so, a small packet of cocaine fell out. Hence, SHE was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Paris has already made it clear that she plans to claim it wasn’t HER purse. If it wasn’t her purse, what was her lip gloss doing in there? She can leave it to her high-powered lawyer to figure this one out.

Is there ANYTHING Charlie Sheen hasn’t been addicted to? First it was BOOZE, and DRUGS, including heroin and crack, then it was SEX with hookers on call at all hours. And don’t forget, when he was high he liked to go SHOPPING and blow tons of money on frivolities. He’s also been accused of being addicted to ONLINE sex and admits his addiction to online GAMBLING. His addictions contributed to the domestic violence that got him arrested for roughing up his wife in Aspen. Charlie’s lawyer had a sweet deal set up whereby Charlie would only serve 30 days in jail and be able to leave jail for up to 12 hours a day and work at a local community theater, coaching aspiring actors. But the deal fell through because they don’t allow smoking at the theater and Charlie is addicted to his NICOTINE habit. So the court date is postponed until July 12 and the new deal might interfere with the “Two and a Half Men” shooting schedule. It’s amazing but Charlie’s self indulgences seem not to affect his popularity or that of his show. He’s teflon. No matter WHAT he does, everybody loves Charlie.

Lindsay Lohan’s alcohol bracelet and tests for illegal drugs aren’t going to do a bit of good as long as she is allowed to take the drugs PRESCRIBED to her. What’s wrong with these judges? Don’t they know that Adderall and Ambien are among the most abused prescription drugs in Hollywood? (Tila Tequila admits to SNORTING Ambien!) Because Lindsay managed to score prescriptions for both, she can take all she wants and she’s considered drug-free. Her problems are never going to be solved this way. We have to tell you that these photos of Charlie Sheen with his freshly shorn head, shopping at Radio Shack in his pajama bottoms are a BAD sign. Years before “Two and a Half Men” when Charlie was at his drug addled worst, he went shopping in a similar electronics store wearing pajama bottoms and a pair of women’s panties on his head! He staggered around the store with his sleazy entourage of hangers-on and drug dealers and THEY greedily picked out expensive devices and confused Charlie paid for everything. Shortly after, his father Martin managed to get Charlie into rehab again and he cleaned up. Martin is probably alarmed to see Charlie out in his pajamas again.
