We found it very strange that Michael Jackson’s kids were invited to have their hand and footprints immortalized in cement at a ceremony outside Grauman’s Chinese Theater. This is the first time we’ve heard of RELATIVES substituting for a deceased star. Prince, 14, Paris, 13, and Blanket, 9, seemed quite happy to do it, but it doesn’t seem right. First of all, Michael was a singer – not a movie star – and a star on Hollywood Blvd seems more appropriate. Also, how weird would it be if Paul Newman or John Wayne’s CHILDREN left their prints instead of the stars themselves?

Paris Jackson never ceases to amaze us. Not only is she the only girl playing on her school’s football team, but she’s on the baseball team ALSO. And she’s gotten parts in two movies! She’s lost weight and she’s growing up to be a pretty, strong, athletic girl. Sad to say, it simply wouldn’t have happened if her father Michael Jackson were still alive. She’d be under a veil.

THE DECLINE AND FALL OF DR ARNOLD KLEIN

For decades, Dr Arnold Klein was the most famous dermatologist in Beverly Hills and he was a pioneer in the development of collagen and other skin injectables. His waiting room was always loaded with celebrities in sunglasses and he was invited to all the best places. Klein had three lavish homes, a collection of cars, and lived like a king. During those heady times, we visited his office to try and dig up some gossip. We found him to be really nice and he loved publicity so he gave us a special price. Now he’s bankrupt and according to the LA Times, is being investigated by the Medical Board of California for overprescribing drugs for Michael Jackson. He may lose his medical license. Before she died, his dear friend Elizabeth Taylor turned on him for publicly dishing details of Michael’s medical and sex life. Klein is now reduced to auctioning off gifts his celebrity clients gave him to try and pay off the 12 million he owes. His behavior makes you wonder if he was sampling his own drugs…

Lou (“The Incredible Hulk”) Ferrigno and his wife Carla and some friends took a walk in Beverly Hills before he leaves for Comic Con in New Orleans in January. You will remember that Lou was training Michael Jackson to get him in shape for his 2009 concerts before Michael died. Wonder if he ever got paid for that work…..

We think the Michael Jackson auction coming up on December 17 is the biggest SCAM! Buyers – open your eyes! Michael Jackson never owned any of this stuff – the house was rented for him fully furnished as he prepared for his London concerts. The furniture had been used by many renters before Michael. The owner of the house apparently decided it was time to redecorate and figured he could get top dollar by linking it to Michael Jackson. Michael’s REAL possessions from Neverland were auctioned off two years ago at Julien’s Auctions. It’s sad to think that Jackson fans will be overpaying for this gaudy French baroque furniture that he had little to do with.

GET READY FOR A MICHAEL JACKSON/FREDDIE MERCURY DUET

We have the feeling that Michael Jackson is one of those singers who die but continue to release new music for years to come. Michael was a huge fan of Freddie Mercury of Queen back in the 80’s and frequently had him over to the house when Queen was on tour in the US. During one visit Freddie and Michael recorded some songs together. The music never saw the light of day until now. Michael’s estate has just okayed the release of the songs and Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen are putting the finishing touches on the music.

Here’s something Prince Jackson, 14, wouldn’t have had if his father Michael Jackson were still alive: a girlfriend. Michael kept his kids under wraps – literally – and they were home schooled. They only socialized with their own cousins. After Michael died, Prince and Paris started going to school with other kids and everything changed – they blossomed. Suddenly they had real friends and a social life and after school activities. Prince and his little girlfriend Niki Berger have been hanging out for a few months and were seen at Six Flags Magic Mountain this week.

Before her brother Michael Jackson died, La Toya was writing a book about what it was like to be a sister to Michael and Janet. After Michael’s death she switched gears and reworked the book to focus on the last days of Michael’s life and called it “Starting Over.” It seems like anyone who’s ever had a loved one die of a drug overdose wants to blame the dealer – or at least someone else. La Toya, a former spokesperson for The Psychic Network – you will recall – has her own ideas of who to blame and it’s certainly not Michael himself.

If Michael Jackson were still alive, where would his kids Paris, Prince, and Blanket, be today? Would they still be walking around with veils on their heads, home schooled, and constantly moving from place to place? Now they’re going to private school and making friends, acting in plays, and participating in after school sports. They seem to be leading far more normal lives, and Prince, 14, appears to have a little girlfriend named Nikki Berger, whom he took to the movies.

We never knew that Michael Jackson was a big fan of Freddie Mercury’s. Back in the early 80’s Jackson used to go to all the Queen concerts at the Forum in LA and he went backstage and became friendly with Mercury. They went out to dinner a few times and then Freddie said that Michael just stopped going out. He said he had everything he wanted at home and didn’t have to leave the house. Because he was such a public figure it proved to be an impossible task, but he TRIED.

We’ve had it up to HERE with the tributes to Elizabeth Taylor. Let’s get real about Liz. Sorry, but she simply wasn’t worthy of all that admiration. She had a pretty face but other positive qualities were rare and far between. When she was a teenager Liz started stealing other women’s husbands. (We still admire Debbie Reynolds for forgiving her.) The acquisitive actress married seven men and finagled as many diamonds out of them as she could manage. And bragged about it. She loved her pets but never bothered to house break them – they messed her carpets – and OTHER people had to clean up. She had health problems but casually checked into a hospital whenever she wanted a rest. Of course her health would have been much better if she had controlled her urges to overeat, drink, smoke, and take drugs – and she never exercised a day in her life. Self-control was not Elizabeth’s strong factor. In 1983, she admitted to being hooked on painkillers and sleeping pills for 35 years. While filming, she expected to find a “gift” in her dressing room every morning or she might not be in the mood to work. We mean jewelry, not flowers. She kept people waiting for hours with no apology. Liz expected her friend Michael Jackson to shower her with diamonds and jewelry stores are still suing his estate for money he owed for her gifts. Granted, she WAS a dear friend to Rock Hudson when he needed one, but her involvement with AIDS charities brought her a grand lifestyle and prestige – private jets and five star hotel suites around the world for her and her entourage, incredible gifts, paid for by the charity. Style icon? Only if you like turbans and caftans. When Edith Head stopped dressing her, she lost her glamour. Let’s celebrate her film career- not her private life.

We just happened to come across this cover of The National Enquirer dated January 12, 2009. Note that in the upper right hand corner the headline says “Michael Jackson – Six Months to Live!” Nobody paid much attention to that prediction until Michael’s death on June 25, 2009 – slightly less than SIX MONTHS later! They were RIGHT! You have to give The Enquirer credit where credit is due.

MACAULAY CULKIN STILL LOOKS BOYISH AT THIRTY

The onetime object of Michael Jackson’s affection, Macaulay Culkin, seems to be spending most of his time in New York now. (As you may recall, Macaulay DID defend Michael during molestation charges.) At one time it was believed that Mac was the real father of Michael’s kids, but they don’t seem to look like him. As far as we know, Culkin and his girlfriend Mila Kunis are still an item after 8 years. Mac still struggles with his career, but supposedly has a movie coming out next year called “Service Man.” Can you believe he’s 30 already?

Michael Jackson’s kids Paris, Prince, and Blanket took a break from school and spent the weekend at the Palms in Las Vegas where Uncle Jermaine was performing at the Planet Hollywood Hotel. Jermaine’s sons Jaffar and Jermajesty and several bodyguards accompanied them. Paris and Prince are actually going to school for the first time in their lives and reportedly love it. Right now they both have security guards that follow them wherever they go on campus at the $30,000 a year Buckley school in Sherman Oaks. The family lawyer says they are adapting so well at Buckley that the guards may soon become unnecessary.

Great news for Michael Jackson’s three kids. They are FINALLY going to be allowed to go to school with other children their own age. Since Michael died last summer, Prince, 13, Paris, 12, and 8 year old Blanket have been cloistered at Michael’s mother Katherine’s home. She thought about sending them to school, but ended up having them home-schooled this past year. Although they have their cousins to play with, Katherine has observed that they have no friends and lead solitary lives. In September, for the first times in their lives, the three children will attend a private school and be exposed to a whole new and wonderful world. Good for them.

Michael Jackson’s so-called friend, Dr Arnie Klein, (Photo left) didn’t realize what a bomb he dropped when he offhandedly told TMZ that Michael had an affair with his office manager! Dr Klein insisted that Jason Pfeiffer(Photo right) was “the love of Michael’s life” and believes their two month fling was Michael’s first and only gay relationship. Klein told TMZ he hopes this info will “clear up rumors that Michael was a pedophile.” Michael Jackson’s fans didn’t take this information well – they threatened to kill Klein and Pfeiffer, who now have bodyguards! What shocks us most is the idea of Michael, who was always obsessed with weight, romancing such a chubby guy. THAT’S the part of the story that doesn’t quite ring true to us. But Michael was always full of surprises.

Our much admired correspondent from The WOW Report, Stephen Saban, discovered this amusing Ebony magazine article. We ADORE looking back at predictions of the future (why did no one predict cell phones?) In 1985, Ebony hired a Chicago artist to illustrate how celebrities would look in the year 2000. It’s funny how Michael Jackson did NOT live up to this portrait, which more closely resembles Billy Dee Williams in his prime.

DR CONRAD MURRAY: POOR LITTLE ME!

A few days before his court appearance on involuntary manslaughter charges, Michael Jackson’s physician Dr Conrad Murray paid a visit to Jackson’s grave at Forest Lawn cemetery. He was photographed looking serious and contrite, perhaps in hopes of drumming up some sympathy for his malpractice accusations. Last we heard, he is expected to appear in court on Monday.

Still living it up in the aftermath of Michael Jackson’s demise, La Toya Jackson went shopping in Warsaw, Poland, at the Promenada Mall. She tried on lots of sexy things at Eva Minge’s posh boutique. Designer Eva has been described as the “Polish Donatella Versace” (we’re not sure it that’s a compliment) – however Eva and LaToya both love the 80’s, and LaToya ended up ordering a white dress. If this were a year ago, there probably wouldn’t have been any paparazzi following her.
